We help individuals from all walks of life advance

their health and wellbeing

through education, Network Spinal chiropractic technique and

hands-on care with the spine and spinal systems

that promote awareness and reorganizatonal healing.

Reorganizational healing is the science, philosophy and art of

your nervous system reflecting

the authentic aspects of what makes you YOU for the purpose of

a healthier and more enjoyable life.

WHAT IS REORGANIZATIONAL HEALING?

It is all about breaking the physical, chemical and mental/emotional cycles that keep you in the same loop.

In other words, reorganizational healing helps you extend beyond your current conditioning and situation by allowing you to experience and see your circumstances in a new light.

Reorganizational healing allows your body to heal itself at the intervals and stages that it needs with better strategies compared to before.

The opposite of reorganizational healing is restorative therapeutics.

Restorative therapeutics are systems, methods and philosophies that target getting you back to where you were before all your problems began.

This usually deals with symptom and pain management that does not deal with root cause. Despite the fact that all of us go through some form of this system, it is not the way to break cycles. It is a short-term way to suppress what your body is feeling in order to get by. When you are not working with the root cause, the same symptoms and conditions will reappear time and time again.

Why would you want to go back to the same mindset and habits that got you into this problematic situation in the first place?

What is needed is a new pathway - a better way of experiencing the body and mind.

Change mindset, habits and awareness —-> Change the outcome!

WHY IS REORGANIZATIONAL

HEALING IMPORTANT?

Our bodies are bombarded with many stressors. Be that:

  • Physical (ex. movement/lack of movement, accidents)

  • Chemical (ex. food, beverage, air and drug consumption)

  • Mental/emotional (ex. how we related to ourselves and others and outlook on life)

  • Spiritual (ex. “Who am I and what am I doing here?”).

Reorganizational healing is important, because it evokes you to be more aware of what is happening in your life. When you become aware at a deeper level, you automatically make better choices for yourself and loved ones. It also re-wires your brain to a state where your body can handle these stressors better. In other words, reorganizational healing alters how your body relates to stressors causing you to save energy for other tasks. The energy saved can now be used to broaden your awareness and increase the quality-of-life choices made.

Receiving reorganizational healing puts you in the driver’s seat. Although we all need help throughout our lives, you are the one that:

  • Is ultimately responsible for your health and wellbeing.

  • Needs to continue learning about yourself and make better choices each day.

Reorganizational healing allows your body to be in its full expression. When your body is in this state, it shares and transmits energy and information more effectively to yourself and others.

You have experienced this, because when you are in your full expression:

  • You feel the best

  • Sleep well

  • Have better interactions with yourself and others

  • Are more optimistic

  • Enjoy the adventure that makes up life.

HOW IS REORGANIZATIONAL

HEALING USED IN OFFICE?

This is performed through the analysis and application of a chiropractic technique called Network Spinal.

Network Spinal focuses on applying subtle and gentle contacts on specific areas of the spine that allows your body to ‘adjust itself’. These contact interactions on the spine build up over time as a neurological memory. This memory is used to build a strategy that creates two different types of observable and palpable wave-like movements that is a part of the healing process.

The first wave that is created is through your breath. This is called a respiratory wave. This is the first and necessary wave to occur, because breathing is the foundation of our physiology and neurology. (Please click here for more information about breathing) Once the breathing pattern can freely move from the tailbone, up to the base of the skull and back, then the second wave will develop.

This secondary wave is called somatopsychic wave (somato meaning body and psychic meaning mind). During this development, the body will initially start to produce more general movements, usually in one part of the spine. As it advances, it will turn into what is called a Network Spinal wave. This movement is expressed as an undulating pattern (a wave-like form at one or multiple sections of the spine). In other words, your body is unwinding fascial tension patterns - in connection with your breath - leading to a change in muscular tone.

These wave-like movements occur in three main directions:

  • Forward and backward (flexion and extension)

  • Side to side (lateral bending)

  • Oscillations (figure-8 pattern)

Healing occurs due to changes in:

  • Awareness

  • Soft tissue (fascia, muscles, tendons and ligaments)

  • Vertebrae

  • Heart Rate Variability

  • Brain waves

(Click here for more information about these sciences)

Did you know that your spine and nervous system is able to express itself automatically through authentic breath and movement that is specific to who you are?

You understand and have felt the sensation and urge to stretch, yawn and move instinctually upon waking or feeling tired. This is a phenomenon that naturally occurs and you move your body in the direction and motion that it calls for without question. This sensation and phenomenon is similar to what occurs with Network Spinal.

Just like a fingerprint or retinal scan, we all have characteristics that make up who we are. Our spinal cord carries the same unique pattern!

Both of these waves listed in the last section are energetic expressions reflecting your spinal cord's unique algorithm (Click here for the neuroscience of Central Pattern Generators located in the spinal cord). When your body gets reconnected to this unique pattern, more efficient healing occurs.

Although these movements occur automatically and are carried out from the body and brain, the wave that occurs can be stopped by the person at any time - but due to the nature of the experience- the person will choose not to stop it and allow the body to continue directing the movement.

At the beginning of care, the contacts made on the spine are quite superficial. Overtime, you become more aware of the subtle changes that occur. This is important and necessary, because the depth of the contact reflects the healing stage.

NOTE: Awareness of the changes in breath, movement and feeling that occur is a key step to healing. Those that are not aware do not reap the same benefits as those who do under Network Spinal care.

Doctor, I know what’s wrong.

Why don’t you just ‘crack’ me

here? This is where the pain is!

Pain is deceptive. It can distract the physician and the person experiencing the pain from the root cause. Just because there is stiffness and pain in a particular area does not mean it should be moved or manipulated. Manually adjusting (‘cracking’) those areas can keep people looping the same cycle week after week.

Network Spinal contacts different parts of the body each session. Your body adapts from each session and can move on.

Network Spinal uses the parts of the body where the most energy and resources are available. Working with these parts of the body gives energy and information to these stuck spinal segments that you want to be ‘cracked’ (manually adjusted).

My purpose and mission is to help you break the habits and conditioning that led you into this pain in the first place by teaching your nervous system better strategies.

The strategies learned by your body can be carried with you outside the office. Use them while you are seated, laying down, meditating or even walking. Here at Door to Door we teach you breathing techniques that sync up with these movements in order for you to have access to a healing strategy wherever you are!

Using Network Spinal first before manual adjustments and soft tissue therapies allows for the true distractors to go away.

Pain is the main reason for why people seek help from a primary care physician like a chiropractor. Using the approach of reorganizational healing through Network Spinal emphasizes function over pain suppression.

NOTE: It is important to remember that there is not a direct correlation between health and wellbeing and the experience of symptoms.

Pain is an adaptation of the nervous system. It creates strategies to bring awareness to your conscious and subconscious mind. Taking away that strategy could be critical in keeping your body safe. That is why taking the approach of reorganizational healing and listening to what the body is expressing allows for your brain to heal in the order that it needs. Not necessarily in the need/want of our conscious mind (aka ‘cracking’ areas of the spine that are stuck).
